Greetings--

i can't wait to get started on this site but am having some problems. how do i create a connection string from my site to my database on godaddy? i even have the code, but where does it go?

I am using godaddy and cyberduck. i have set up my database on godaddy and have my host name, database name, user name, nd password. i am able to successfully connect to godaddy via cyberduck and then i upload the entire zip file of the indexhibit. i then change the permissions to 777, and then go to living-portrait.com/ndxz-studio/install.php and it says i have not successfully uploaded. i have called webhost multiple times, this last time he said that I need a connection string from my site to my database on godaddy.

do you have any suggestions?

kind thanks.

Because you uploaded the folder instead of just uploading the contents of the folder...your files are right here:

http://living-portrait.com/indexhibitv070e/ndxz-studio/install.php

thanks, sorry for the question, but how do i access what you just did? what do you mean by "just uploading the contents of the folder" ?

when i go to

living-portrait.com/ndxz-studio/install.php

or http://living-portrait.com/

i do not see anything

many and kind thanks.

That's because you uploaded the folder called 'indexhibitv070e' instead of just uploading what was in the folder. Delete everything...then reupload your files again but only the contents of the folder.

And then, yes, you can access everything as you mentioned in the previous note.
