I am having trouble uploading - I get the message "The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet. Theme install failed." I've used 3 different browsers... I'm pretty lost and uploading via wordpress/tsohost. Thank you!

Is not an error message from Indexhibit - I think you have something else in the way.

I've contacted the hosters (tsohost) who also tried to install it on my behalf but they say they also keep coming up with a missing file...
Where exactly have you uploaded Indexhibit?
I only see a blog.
I have not managed to upload it - that is my problem! I try but both tsohost and myself both get a message saying "style.css stylesheet" is missing so the upload fails.

That is not from Indexhibit though - you have something else in the way (I already said this in my first post).

It is absolutely not an Indexhibit error message - something else is in the way.

I don't know...wordpress? I've never seen that error message before...I have no idea where it comes from.
Until we are able to see Indexhibit files on your server we can't do much here.
I don't know...and I don't want to give you advice that will ruin your old site (perhaps you will want it)...but my guess is that you need to delete the existing .htaccess file (if you can't see it it's invisible and you need to set your FTP app to see it) AND you will need to delete the old index.php file.
Maybe, then, you will be able to see Indexhibit.
This is the only advice I'm going to give because, as I mentioned, it makes me terribly uncomfortable telling you to delete things when I don't know what you have on your server. Always backup...

I've unzipped it and still we cannot find style.css
Is there a chance it could be missing?
