Upload pdfs for slide show

Hello guys.

This is my first time so please be gentle with me and forgive my ignorance.
I was wondering if there was any way to upload pdfs instead of only jpgs, gifs and png for the slide show.

This would give amazingly fast and flexible layout and navigation options by allowing pages to be created on software like indesign then converted to pdf and directly uploaded.

would be grateful for any ideas or alternatives

No, it's simply not possible...PDF's don't work the same as images and all browsers handle them differently.

Wow,that sounds pretty final, which is a shame cos that would really open things up. In that case is there a way of creating slideshow code or a linking method to go from one media file to the next (eg. .mov, swf, pdf) in the text area when you upload files using the files manager?

Not with the current Indexhibit version. (‚ô™ I know something you don't know... ‚ô´ )

Ooooooh Arsondpi that sounds intriguing. Pleeease share, you know you want to. How long would we have to wait before we had access to your priviledged information?

Thanks for the tip salvatoresantoro, checked out issuu. So I guess I just enter issuu's code directly into the Indexhibit text area?
