hi,

i'm trying to install the statcounter code so that i have one more source of statistics. they say i should insert the code after the tag and before the tag on every single page i am interested in getting that info.

looking at indexhibit i would say i should write on edit box, but it doesn't work.

where should i insert the code?
thanks
J

no, index.php (from your theme's folder) is the template, style.css is … style.

thanks a lot mathieu. i had no idea which one was my theme's folder so i searched in the forum. i think this is is,

ndxz-studio>site>sample>index.php

but then i've faced a problem. Statcounter asks you to insert the code after the tag and before the tag. the problem in this template is that i can't find the tag, i mean the first one.

does this makes sense?

tags are and

body with < and >, the second being < and / in the beginning of body and > at the end

Open your index.php file found in the sample folder with a code editor.
You'll see the body tag then...

For questions like these I suggest you start by reading the two red links in the Useful threads post...

hi, i tried creating a plugin as per http://www.indexhibit.org/forum/thread/3605/ and then i tried adding the script directly into the ndxz-studio>site>sample>index.php file - neither one seemed to count my hits!

any suggestions?
