Indexhibit Support

Hello guys,

I feel really thick right now, but for some reason I can't get past the database setup page...
I put all the details in, click "submit" and the next page is just a blank page. Regardless of what I put in. The server is "ftp.alice-dsl.net" and it works fine with my username and password when I use my ftp client (Transmit). I thought the database name would just be Alice or Alice-dsl. But I've tried all combinations, even the whole server-address as the name. And all that comes up is a blank page every time.

What am I doing wrong? I feel like it's probably something really obvious, but I'm pretty clueless right now, so I would really really appreciate some help if anyone can figure it out... :)

I sugegst you go through the easy installation thread, which has a step by step guide..

Yeah I followed the easy installation instructions but it it doesn't say much about this bit... :(

i just went to alice-dsl.net
and typed "mysql" without the quotes into the searchfield ;)
the german search showed me that alice webspace doesn´t support mysql.
I think it´s not possible to install any kind of cms on alice webspace.

Oh that would explain it then... BOO ALICE! :)
