I know many people already posted related threads, but I seem to be unable to solve my problem even having read them all. I can't install the horizontal exhibit plugin. I downloaded the file and uploaded it into the site/plugin folder. I tried this several times and it still doesn't work. Any other suggestions or alternative plugins I can use? thanks!
did you switch to advanced mode?
exhibit settings > advanced mode > on

don't know what's going on, you should then have the exhibition format option box on the right showing the horizontal along the standard formats...

I've noticed that a lot of people are having the same problem. only the standard options are available on the exhibition format option box...
I've seen this happening only when the advanced mode is off, which is the default mode.
be really really sure you've advanced mode set to on and refresh your page when you're in the exhibit edit page.
also be really really sure that you've uploaded the plugin online, at the moment it isn't there, where it should be: I've checked and got a Not Found message:
The requested URL http://www.sarahgriesler.com/ndxz-studio/site/plugin/exhibit.horizontal.php was not found on this server
the advanced mode is switched on and I refreshed the page, I also turned it off and on again to make sure... regarding the plugin, I uploaded it via cpanel, into the site/plugin folder (that's what I'm supposed to do, right?). is there any other way to upload it? thanks so much!
yes,now the plugin is there, but still doesn't working? weird...
weird right? i've noticed that i'm not the only one with this problem but everything seems right in theory...
ok, managed to do it. just removed all files and uploaded them again, refreshed and it is working, thanks!
