When I log onto my website the first page that shows up is one of my projects that has the horizontal navigation, i want to create a separate look for the the home page similar to the page on my "intro" tab. how do I make the change? In other words I want my intro page to be my home page

It's simply a logic issue. What you did was turn your 'main/index' page into a project page. But, your index page is always going to be your index page. So, turn it back into your index page however you want and move that project content to a real project page.
excuse the ignorance but how do I know which in the main/index page? and how to add an image to it?

No...I mean...just look at what the page is then you can find it in your system then and make the necessary changes.

I can not find my home page to edit it.
I want what is called my 'home' page on my site to be my main page, ie when you log on to candcweddings.com you see the black and white image which you see when you click on the 'home' link, but at the moment you see a broken link image from the previous main page I created. But I can not find the previous main page to delete it. Or how do I just make the 'home' page my main page???

You must identify which of the pages is your Main page (if you haven't changed its name, it's called Main). Then you just put the content of your home page there. You will always have a Main page, and you can't delete it, but you can have it hidden from the menu, which is as you have it now
