unable to embed Soundcloud code

martindx / 2011-02-21 14:44:00

I'm unable to embed Soundcloud embed code in an exhibition. I can paste it onto the page but when I click the save icon it will not save.
My site is www.martinpdixon.com
I have created a new blank test site and I still get the same problem. www.martinpdixon.com/test

The code is: from http://soundcloud.com/martindx/sets/bipolar/ and obviously works here OK (sorry not sure how to comment it so you can see the code)
Is it something with the hosting?
php details are here http://www.martinpdixon.com/phpinfo.php

... works like a charm. http://raumzwei.gatonet.de/free/soundcloud-test/
Did you try to turn off page processing for your exhibit?

Thanks G470

I've tried another new install (on a different hosting package on 4uhosting) http://www.tabardgardens.org/test/ with no changes to initial setup apart from page processing off but it still doesn't work.
I can get it to work on a different hosting provider (1and1) but on 4uhosting where these sites are I just can't get it to work at all.

I go to the exhibition page, paste in the code but when I click save nothing happens, no green updating message - screenshot (http://www.tabardgardens.org/test/screenshot1.png).
html typed into the exhibition page saves fine it's just this particular embed code doesn't (and yet it obviously does at http://raumzwei.gatonet.de/free/soundcloud-test/ and when I tried on 1and1 hosting.

The server is running PHP Version 5.2.14 and mySQL version 5.0.91
I've been all round the forum searching on this but nothing conclusive.

I'm guessing it's something with the particular hosting setup at http://www.4uhosting.co.uk/ but what can I ask them?

Hey martin,
just straight up ask them why the soundcloud embed code doesn´t work, if you need to you can send them the embed code and the link to it working properly on an indexhibit site.

Thanks blameme - they sorted it

"The security software on the server was triggerred by the URL in the code. We have disabled that particular security rule so it wont happen again."
