iframe positioning

asymm / 2008-07-05 20:09:51

quick question here, I'm having difficulty with the positioning of my iframe and also with scroller bars. I want to keep this as sleek and simple as possible by eliminating all scrolling.

Here's a screenshot of what's happenin':

And here is my style.css code, thus far:
style.css

If anyone could provide a little insight as to what to change, that would be wonderful. I'm fairly inexperienced with CSS, so it's much appreciated. Thank you!

hi there asymm

edit your wordpress to control pixel with and remove the horizontal scrollbar.

vertically... i get a fair result on mine(http://www.maismais.eu/book-of-death/) in both IE and firefox. use firebug in some examples of iframed blogs (you can get more on older posts from this forum) to compare css code.

adeus amigo!

i've meant "pixel width" not "with". wat an awful inglish...

But I don't think there is much we can do about their management system doing that. What's really the issue is the WP frontend...how is that?

Ok...I found it...you need to re-read the directions and the part where it says turn OFF "Page Processing". Then, resave your content...if your template isn't too wide or has some odd construction it should be ok.

We're trying to get the paragraph tags wrapping your iframe and things out of there...

thanks guys, tried the firebug thing and figured out where to alter my style.css. It works wonderfully now, so thank you!
