Indexhibit Support

Hi everyone, i cant seem to get in to my ndxz-studio to edit my site. I havent edited my site for a while so i dont think it could be something iv done, could it be to do with my web host and if so what would i tell them is wrong?

I just started installing and using Indexhibit. After installing nothing happens after this link: http://www.lehila.net/ndxz-studio/

what I´m doing wrong? Just checked with my host provider and the database info is correct. please help! I´m anxious to start my website new design!

still no luck. I finish the installation and this appears:

OK Looks like the database is ready.
The default login / password is index1 / exhibit.
Change these and your site settings once inside.

once I click: let´s login! it takes me to a blank page. I´m using firefox and safari. I read all the threads on this forum relating this issues, tried everything, still no access. My host provider said that maybe is a web development issue and/or script debugging...
help!!

Did you start with a new database each time or delete the tables before you reinstalled? Otherwise, you aren't reinstalling (in Useful Threads there is info about this).

If you are getting a blank page after a good install it could be a few things (because you can install even if some things are not correct)...

- there is some kind of strange permissions issue on a file or files
- there could be missing or damaged files (from FTP at uploading)
- the host is really weak (like free hosting)

I don't see the root 'index.php' file on your site which leads me to believe that not everything was uploaded.

i also have a problem with the login : all was ok, and i was working on the website, but 2 days ago, i problably changed something and i don't know what, it appears a page with yellow foders et blue writings (asset/ , common.php , config/ , etc)

You deleted the /ndxz-studio/index.php folder - just reupload it and I'm sure all will be just fine. Be careful of what you are doing on FTP.

something was wrong so i erased everything,created a new database, uploaded the files again, started from zero. now it seems to be working.

I already have a web site, I wanted to change the design and I have just integrated the file indexhibitv070e into my server FTP. I changed well the codes in 777 but I can't to reach my page to continue the installation.

Hi, you uploaded the whole indexhibitv070e folder, if you read carefully the installation instructions, you will see that you have to upload the CONTENTS of indexhibitv070e folder.
