Indexhibit Support

Hi there

I am trying to upload my logo in the menu bar. I have read many forums about this issue yet I am still having trouble. I have uploaded my logo.gif in my "img" folder and edited my pre nav code yet it still doesnt upload. Any ideas?

Your code is not correct. You have to keep the whitespace behind the a tag.

Hi Guys,

I would also like to have my logo above the menu bar. I guess i can copy the code provided here by G470 ( thank you), but where do I really copy it to? I am not a programmer and most of the forum text sound like Chinese to me. Thank you in advance. Roman

just copy inte the pre-nav, replacing with your own site address and the address where you put your logo image (jpg, gif or png)

thank you Pernin, I think i worked it out. Now i can get rid off my 'exhibition name'. the table in exhibit settings says 'required' and therefore i am not able to remove this note. any idea what to do with it?

as you should know from your other posts, and as stated in the forum rules, a website address is very helpful for us to actually see what is happening ;)

that said, yes, exhibition name is required, but you can make it whatever you want, for example the name of your site, or your cat, or whatever

Thanks, my last intention was to ignore the rules :-)
I just didn't want to see the note and logo together. I thought one or another.
But now something worse happened. I deleted the main 'section' and the first (main) page doesn't show. which means no access to my website. is there a way of bringing it back?

i know that you didn't want to ignore the rules, and you still don't provide an address... ;)

er, you shouldn't delete your main page: it is your *main* page. if you don't like it there in the menu, just "hide" it

my website address is www.romanhalat.com, however you can't see it now as i deleted the main page :-)
i'll dig out the forum and try to bring it back to operation.
