Hi, I'm trying to customize my site:
www.montefalconeweigert.de

...but I have some problems:
1) I would like to have a scrollbar for the text at the page
"http://www.montefalconeweigert.de/works/schooltr/" but I can't: the scrollbar appears everywhere also in the homepage slideshow..and I don't want this happens!

2) I would like to change the appearance of the scrollbar using basic CSS but it looks like there is no connection between the scrollbar in the pages and the css i changed

There is someone that could help me? thanks

hi, I'm still trying to set my website...

I couldn't fit the scrollbar:
in homepage I should have a slideshow but I don't know why the jquery.mCustomScrollbar.js interferes with the slideshow so I have all the images showed together...

I suppose there is a mix-up with "conteiner" and "content"...but I don't know where to work...

someone can help me?!
thanks!

hi, imho you've got too much stuff over there, especially when you deal with so many javascripts then it becomes more difficult to keep everything under control.
as a hint I'd say that you should start with the simplest acceptable layout and then adding fancy behaviours one by one.
also it's a good idea to validate your page...

hi rickykappa....I started with simple layout, then:
1)I had the "slideshow" in Homepage;
2)I had the "table" in Workspage;
...and still it works good...
3)I customized the Exhibition theme, so I had to set text overflow...and the problem pops up!

I validated my page, no problem is found...

I validated my page, no problem is found...
the validate link in my post above still gives 14 errors, tried to validate your working exhibit I've got 21 errors see here. some of those errors aren't really important for the page to work, but some are and it's better to fix them... not to mention that there is also a CSS validator to check when you deal with style.
besides yesterday I saw the custom scrollbar in your page and today is gone?
these are not at all indexhibit issues, please remember that it's all done in our free time and we can't solve all time consuming issues that aren't related to indexhibit - but here we're helping people as much as possible to help themselves: we like them put the hands in and take control of their own websites, so read my advice again: start again from simple code and go on 1 by 1 step.
;-)
ps: sarebbe come riparare il tetto quando il problema è nelle fondamenta, meno male che ricostruire daccapo è facile e veloce, buon lavoro!

...ohps...I didn't know this way to validate...I used the dreamweaver's validation option...
I must to learn still a lot!!

thanks for all, I'm going to re-set all...

p.s. there is a "indexhibit way" to style a scrollbar?
