CMS2 installation problems (upgrade)

megadice / 2012-05-31 03:26:23

Hello,
I am getting error message with upgrade to CMS2.

With "Click here to backup your existing database" I get error message;
Fatal error: Call to undefined function show_error() in /usr/www/users/pl204/kristinemoran/ndxz-studio/db/db.mysql.php on line 373

If I back up and try to skip that step, and just continue I get the same error.

-There is no config file in ndxzsite/config/
-I accidentally ran upgrade.php from the ndxzstudio (NON-dash) before putting the upgrade.php in the right folder and running it from there...not sure if this messed things up.

(I do get confirmation that I am on PHP5)

thanks in advance for any help,
Joe

Do you know which version of Indehxibit you had?

Pretty sure it was 70e.

(...also noticing that I never had a '/ndxzstudio/cache/' folder to change the permissions to 777...)

That's new...

the cache is in ndxzsite/cache

"the cache is in ndxzsite/cache" .... -> so instructions need to be updated?

Anyone else experience these problems? Or any ideas Vaska?

tx.

I looked into this - it failed because the database password had been changed. It was not the same one as it was from the existing site.
