Indexhibit Support

Hi, I'm pretty new to indexhibit but am trying to build my website and cant change off the eatock theme.

When i switch to sample and press save I am directed to a page titled 403 Forbidden.

Additionally the page says :

You don't have permission to access /ndxz-studio/ on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

What does this mean and how can I change to sample to edit my site (only want to change font size, colour and typeface)

I sent the email provided with sign up to my host and they replied saying that they had all the requirements, I'm pretty much 100% sure I installed correctly so dont understand why this is happening.

If anyone knows why I would really appreciate your help as am very new to this and very confused!!!

This is actually about older Indexhibit.

My guess is that somehow you have messed up permissions on the Sample folder. Set the folder to 755 and the files inside to 644 and I bet it works just fine.

Thanks for replying so quickly!
I just checked the permissions on the sample folder and files inside and they were already set to those numbers. Rewrote the numbers just in case but still not working when I try to update. Any other ideas?

First of all, relax. Don't delete or reinstall anything...

But, something odd is happening here. When I try to visit those files it says they don't exist, as well.

You aren't somehow trying to upgrade to version 2?

I dont think so... I downloaded the first one on the list to install (I think its V0.73?) Is it possible I've installed the wrong thing to begin with?

Are you just getting started? Skip v0.73 and go for the new version. If you don't want to pay for it now just ask for a copy - it will be granted.

Yeah, havent really loaded anything up yet so happy to get the new version.
Do I need to drop you an email? Also should I uninstall indexhibit?

No, just go into the "login/register" page and you will see what's going on.

It wouldn't be a bad thing to uninstall the old version...

sorry to be a pain, but I have no idea how to uninstall indexhibit!! Do i delete files from my FTP? If so which files? Is it just the ndxz-studio file or the whole public_html file?
Sorry just worried I'm going to delete something I shouldnt!!!
