Indexhibit Support

Hello.
I have two questions. (Second thread..)

I switched base and style.css to 777, because I wanted to change the link definitions (just styles, no positions)
I already had it yesterday, then suddenly after some repairing by pernin, which was great (thank you) I wanted to try to get back to the styles I already wrote. I changed base and style in FTP to 777. And wrote in ndxzstudio But now somehow style.css gets empty in ndxzstudio and sectiontitlebar looks totally undesigned. I'm always able to fix it by uploading the original style.css, but I would like to stay with my ideas and don't know how.
What did I do wrong?

where are you editing? in admin > assets or with an editor through ftp? Did you try editing css without changing permissions from 644 to 777?

no first I changed to 777. (I'm not that confused ;))
then tried to edit in admin>dateien (should be assets) in ndxzstudio
I cannot write in the safari css files.
can I?

some installations need changing permissions to the files for editing. Other don't. Try editing with style and base css at 644. Make one visible change and test

OK. you can have the files at 644 and edit them offline: download the file with ftp to your computer, edit it with a plain text editor or a code editor, save changes and reupload it

The other alternative, is using the indexhibit style plugin. It's much simpler for making basic changes but maybe they are enough for your needs
