Indexhibit Support

Hello, sorry for taking your time. and thank you very much.
I am still stuck with the 404 not found with uploading.
My system is mac osx 10.4.11, and new to install indexhibit and making web.
my address is 'yukarimatsumoto.nl'

After Pernin's answer I uploaded the 'new install' folder include content.
Then there came out two folder in my public_html, 'new install' and '__MACOSX'
I checked the permission in the 'new install'. they are 777, but it doesn't work.
What should I do?

I am wondering the other folder '__MACOSX'
Should I work with this one?
in the '__MACOSX' also there is a folder 'new install' but something different with another 'new install' (at first degree of public_html)
should I add some files? I read some forum but not exactly same situation...
or delete '__MACOSX' ?

I could go install indexhibit page!
I compressed again not the folder 'new install' but the contents of it.
but there is another problem... ?? htaccess not ok
I read forum and the thread says to change the name.
htaccess to .htaccess

but how? I could not change on my computer because start with . is for system.
and tried to do on my FTP but could not find how to do.
Should I able to do on FTP? or some of FTP cannot do?

Good for you. I still can't open the installation page! And Yes, I ve checked, the server:

Apache server
- PHP5+
- MySQL4+

My indexhibit files are in the public_html folder.
Anyone could help?

it's difficult to help if we can't see what is happening: website address and clear description of the problem, and a clear, specific question. I recognize both of your names from earlier threads somewhere, but even if we had the time to go hunting for that other thread, we can't assume that this new thread and question is about the same thing, or even the same site

I've put the indexhibit dowload folder content into public.html folder on the web. I;ve changed permissions to 777. I'm trying

Hi Marek, I can't see indexhibit files there. Your public_html folder should look something like this:

public_html/index.php (file)
public_html/htaccess or .htaccess (file)
public_html/files/ (folder)
public_html/ndxzstudio/ (folder)
public_html/ndxzsite/ (folder)

are you sure you don't have indexhibit within a subfolder in public_html?

Permin, the public_html is exactly in this shape, there is no other subfolder.
Is it the matter of time? Domain to server connection?

I am totally new about css and indexhibit, so struggling

Now, go to yukarimatsumoto.nl/ndxzstudio/, login and start by creating a project. Dive into Indexhibit, you'll see, it's not that difficult.
