Indexhibit Support

Hi guys, congrats for the new version and thanks for all your work and time. Indexhibit rocks!

Now, after setting up my and own website with the older version, I decided to make my girlfriend's with the new one. I was quite familiar with the older one but I'm a bit lost here. Your forum has always been extremely helpful but this time I had to post something.

First up, I had a clean and fast install on a brand new database for her. But, the "Exhibits:Main" page is nowhere to be seen and I can only access it by manually typing it's URL. Then, I made some new sections and uploaded some test text and images but nothing appears on the website. The sections are not hidden, the "publish" is on but nothing comes up.

The site is mariannakastrinos.com/ and I hope this is not a stupid mistake of mine's or the wrong place for this thread.

Did you disable the index from working? This could by why you can't find any exhibits...

Check the template and make sure that the plugin is there:

1. <plugin:index:index_load />

Did I do that? I have no idea how I did it!
Where do I find what you describe? In my "Assets" this plugin is not listed if this is what you mean...

Noooooo, I think it's something else, sorry.

I believe that the parser isn't working on your server. I've already updated this file (but haven't released it yet). If you download this file and replace your current parser I bet things will work:

indexhibit.org/downloads/…

/ndxzstudio/lib/parse_default.php

Sorry to post on such an old thread- but in searching around quite a bit this seems to best describe the problem I am having.

When I create exhibits i am unable to see them in preview or live. I am in fact not even able to see a new section title (which was not the case when i first upgraded but my messing with it seems to have made the problem even worse). The only exhibit that works is the root/main page. I tried replacing the parser- but there was no change. I have reinstalled several times as well (there was no problem before i switched to version 2- i started from scratch at that point).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am a beginner- so i apologize in advance if the problem is something simple and ridiculous.

Hello Laura,

I can see that there's a Commercials sections with a commercial exhibit in in but the links are in white.
You must have used the Indexhbit Style v1.0 plugin - you need to tweak most options because your links are currently white.

Clicking on the commercials exhibit shows a No input file specified.
