admin preview works / website doesn't

Hi,

I can create my website in admin mode, and preview it. But when I open my website, I can only see the left menu but nothing happens on the right when I click on it.

website : start1g.ovh.net/~thomasdun/

Can't use my website.com address, because it goes directly on tumblr, it may be part of my problem ?

I've try to modify the parse file, nothing happened.
I've try to use clean URL, it bugs, because I don't use website.com I think.

Long live Indexhibit.

Thomas.

The ~ could be the problem. I can't look at this right now as I have a billion things to do but perhaps over the weekend I could make an adjustment and see what happens.

Thanks.

It is a little weird that nothing shows up. Could you add this line to your .htaccess file and see if it makes any PHP errors appear?

  1. php_flag display_errors on

But, Indexhibit wouldn't throw an error for this - it would simply filter it out.

I'm not sure the ~ is the problem though. That host has all kinds of oddness - people have written about it around here. I do know that people are using Indexhibit 2 on their servers already.

Hey guys,

When I put "php_flag display_errors on" on my htaccess I got a "Internal Server Error" on every pages, so I removed it.

Ain't it strange that the preview mode works perfectly ?

The OVH host may have some problems, I've heard about that too. But they were a small enterprise in a small french town when I bought my first domain, so they have my sympathies.

That error is often related to the htaccess file - how about changing the name of the file and see what happens next?

I didn't know that about them - I guess I should be more sympathetic then.

You mean changing the name of the .htaccess file ?
If I do I got it :

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /homez.386/thomasdun/www/ndxzstudio/lib/cache.php on line 5

But I should not understand what you mean.

Anyway it can wait till this WE, I am working in the admin site for the moment.

It now worked without the bloody ~.

I meant "It works".
