Statistics not working

Hi,

I've recently set up my website inconversationwith.biz using Indexhibit - and I know several people who have made visits, yet the statistics are still at zero. What's the best way to install my statistics - do they not start automatically? Should I use Google Analytics?

Thank you for your help

You need to enable them in Admin > Plugins...

Thanks,

Yes I've done that, the funny thing is that I enabled the statistics for both my boyfriends site and my own, his is showing up viewers on the statistics page when I visit it from a private computer but mine is not?

Do you know why this is?

It's possible you have code issues - the code around your site name is really messed up.

Also you are either missing or have weird permissions on /ndxzsite/plugin/ajax.php. In that path, folders should be 755 and the file should be 644.

Which leads me to believe you aren't using the newest set of files that were uploaded two weeks ago.

Ok, I had some trouble using the instructions provided on your site for cleaning up my URL paths. They seemed to make my entire website crash, so 123 reg resolved the issue for me - which now looks like its complicated things.

I think i'm missing the /ndxzsite/plugin/ajax.php. file as I can't see it on Cyberduck.

Thanks for the advice so far

Is there any way of fixing the coding so I can see the stats? don't want to risk crashing the entire website so need step by step advice please!

Stats also don't seem to work for me, too. I have the current version, the right permissions. I edited the theme, maybe that's where that comes from? What triggers a visit? Maybe I accidentally left a code snippet out?
