How can explain something like this:
venticaratteruzzi.com/design/opera-and-concerts-2011-2012/
that in the subsequent exhibit is this:
venticaratteruzzi.com/design/opera-and-concerts-2011/ (with images superimpesed)???

Resize the thumbnails on the one that isn't right - just click the button... ;)
ok this is a first step, thank you
but how can I set the same space between images in any exhibit (and put the text at the same height of the top of the index?
It would be very nice - at least for me – to obtain a good "grid based" layout.
I don't really understand...it already is a good 'grid based' layout.
There are options in Admin > Formats and you can easily add html to your text space to standardize things as you wish.
but I'm still unable to set each page with the same spaces from picture to picture etc. (waiting for a solid slideshow plugin?)
There are tools that do that in Admin > Formats. You can even both change the shape of your thumbnails or even upload special thumbnails (cover art) for each work - there are alot of options.
Maybe I'm not experienced with codes, because my task is not to place right images (I managed any image option and I found it quite good). I wonder why the same text appears different (in spacing and padding) from an exhibit to another...
i.e. in my "main" I've just put three images from a recent work of mine but I can't align the caption exactly at the same level with the red text of the index. (apologies for my english)
Because formats deal with text differently. And, changing options does not involve coding...
It's easier if you show us what you are talking about. The two examples previously in the thread clearly do not have the same settings.
first of all: consider that I put a double
at the beginning of any text box...
example 1: venticaratteruzzi.com/
captions aligned with gray text "editing and graphic design"
example 2: venticaratteruzzi.com/design/opera-and-concerts-2011-2012/
text aligned with red text "Venti caratteruzzi" with a little space before images
example 3: venticaratteruzzi.com/design/opera-and-concerts-2011/
text aligned with red text "Venti caratteruzzi" with larger space before images
example 4: venticaratteruzzi.com/design/opera-and-concerts-2009/
text not aligned with nothing and with strange spaces
example 5: venticaratteruzzi.com/design/music-related/
I can consider this one as "correct", in my view
example 6: venticaratteruzzi.com/design/music-related-2/
I can consider this one as "correct", in my view
Thanks very much for your support
this is an extremely informative experience for me
1, 2, 3 and 4 you have inserted alot of extra line breaks...that's what is messing things up.
If you want full control over the html in the text spaces then click on the green P to turn off page processing - then it will not automatically add break and paragraph tags which seem to be the issue you are having. But, I see no reason why you would add those because they are the problem...
