And, what is your site...?

venticaratteruzzi.com

You have poorly formed html in your PreNav space - clean up that code and things should be good.

Venti_caratteruzzi / 2012-07-20 11:29:47

I'm sorry but I don't know how to clean my code (but I'm learning a lot of interesting things!).
Here the pre-nav text:

Venti caratteruzzi – Editing & Graphic design
Venti caratteruzzi
Editing & Graphic design
Venti_caratteruzzi / 2012-07-20 11:31:30

how can I post the text without auto formatting?

Take out the title tag (which only goes in the head of an html page) and take out the font tags.

Venti_caratteruzzi / 2012-07-20 13:39:58

ok, more or less...
now it works but only in mouse hove behavior

arsondpi / 2012-07-20 14:08:08

you can set the menu to expand on-click in the options of the plugin. Go to Admin->Plugins->Indexpand->options and set the Mouse behavior to Click.

Venti_caratteruzzi / 2012-07-20 14:19:22

already done, but if I set to Click the whole menu appears expanded with no effect
:-(

Vaska A / 2012-07-20 14:34:04

It's still on hover...

Venti_caratteruzzi / 2012-07-20 21:54:24

No, I changed a couple of times to click but nothing happens, but the hover option is quite nice.
I will revert to my site in 24h...
Dreaming to see soon as possible tons of wonderful plugins to try!
:-)

It takes time to make all of those things. I'm working with two interns this summer to make alot of things...plugins, themes, formats... ;)

danylophoto / 2012-07-25 17:55:12

I have the same issue with Indexpand.

1- downloaded the plugin
2- installed in the right places
3- enabled
4- nothing happens

My site is below. I tried to clean up the Pre-Nav and Post-Nav but would like to make it work even with those Post-Nav links if possible (since I like the fact that I can customize the spacing between each link)

Any insight would be awesome! Thanks a bunch!

PS: Vaska, mad props for your work on the project and version 2! Can't wait to see what comes next! ; )

I noticed on the last one who posted the same question - characters in the meta tags that are illegal. Different browsers will react to this differently...some might work...others not at all. I validated your page...lots of issues:

validator.w3.org/…

danylophoto / 2012-07-27 20:31:37

Thanks for the validator link Vaska. I cleaned up all of the errors with the exeptions of the ones causes by the facebook and google 1+ buttons. That said, I removed their code and thied the site without them to remove their influence and it STILL does not load Indexpand (all menus always stay the same/regular no matter what I try.

I also remove two the text for the Pre-Nav and Post-Nav and even then...Indexpand still doesn't not show any action. i tried in FireFox and Chrome. same for both. Also just tried disabling and enabling it again. no changes...

Any suggestions of what I could try to make Indexpand work?

Thanks!

still for danylophotography.com for last message

Vaska A / 2012-07-27 20:37:06

I'm not sure what you did, but you have called up some javascripts more than once - in particular, jquery. It's really messy and I'm sure is killing things from working properly...

danylophoto / 2012-09-06 18:31:07

sweet! thanks Vaska! I just delete all my previous javascript codes (including jquery.js) which seemed to be the culprit! it works great! Thanks!!!! = )
