Visual Index issues

Ok,
so the guy I'm helping him put his website together has flagged up a couple of issues. giampieroassumma.com

1. There seems to be a problem displaying using the Visual Index format on an iPad. It clicks onto it, but then the screen is simply black with no image. What could be causing this? It seems to work fine on an iPhone.

2. There is always this timer icon when flicking between the images. Is there a way to either A, turn it off, or B for Better, have something more like the fade that is present in the new slideshow. This seems to be a real stickler for this chap.

I really like this format as I think it displays ALL of the work in the best possible light, and encourages people to view everything in a given folder, or at least what tickles their fancy. For me the old Thickbox was really amazing, which leads me to question

3. Is there a way to do a lower opacity on the background, so the images below are visible?

Sorry for so many questions, I know round the clock work is being done on all these various formats, but any leads be greatly appreciated.

Much love, S

1. We posted a simple fix for this around the forum.
2. You can disable the loading indicator in the javascript. And even try replacing that with a fade - some work.
3. Yes, /ndxzsite/css/overlay.css - look for the comment about opacity and go for it.

thanks :) will give the last two a proper look in soon.

however, i can't find the thread on the ipad anywhere. only this:

and indexhibit.org/forum/thread/15331/

but surely avoiding using the overlay is not the solution?

ah nice one, yes :)

for the second question i asked though, to edit the javascript and disable the loading indicator... where is this done? i've looked through all the .js files, and found ways to edit it through the overlay.css, loading-dock and .loading, but can't seem to work out how to completely disable it :/ when i remove all the code in those categories, it is more or less gone, except for one little bar of the loading icon... i feel like i'm totally going wrong direction tho

This thread has been closed, thank you.
