Indexhibit Support

Dear all,

I am changing both webhost and domain name and I was wondering if I have to re-install indexhibit or can I somehow 'copy' everything from one to the other?

You can simply move the files. But, you must export your existing database and then import it to the new server. Then, update the /ndxz-studio/config/config.php file with the new database login.

Your hosts provide PHPMyAdmin just for this kind of purpose.

I'll let you know if I get it to work.

I have tried to export and import my database but I keep getting all kind of errors when I import. I have already copied all httpdocs into my new filemanager host. Maybe I should not do that?

I got the database import working today:)
But I still have some problems. The updating of the config.php has me confused.
Do I only change the password and user or also host and sql?

Just ask your host for the new database details (your site's control panel would have these as well)

My host got it all working:)
