Indexhibit Support

just noticing that when I add a little html to my exhibit fields, (like heading tags or even the simple modifications that come standard in the exhibit window like em) default instructions for spacing seem to get lost.

i've had to add two
tags after anything that has an html tag applied to it to produce a line break in the browser. just seems rather inelegant and probably not the way it's meant to be. I wonder if it's something trippy with indexhibit or most likely something i overlooked or broke while customizing styles and exhibit formats.

not a problem that is ultimately affecting my page per se but just seemed like it was worth mentioning.

right, the br tag i put in there produced a break so you can't see it - i meant that after any html tag two break tags are needed on the same line to make a line break in the browser.

I wouldn't put p or br tags in there. You can style things directly via CSS. Yes, you can add html, but you also need to be aware that you could be messing up the standard rules at the same time.

I don't see this as a bug.

Yes, you can style things directly via CSS, but we have no control over the line breaks. Why can't we just write pure HTML in the text input boxes?

Of course you can - click the P button (Proccess HTML) and you can input pure html in the text area.
