Indexhibit Support

Hi,
I've checked the threads and all the splash page questions seem to assume some prior knowledge - is there any step by step guides to setting up a splash page in indexhibit 2.0?

Not really for version 2 - need to make one eventually.

You can make a splash page template for anything you want - and then upload it to your /ndxzsite/$theme/ folder. Then, for the main (or home) page of your site you can select that template as the one to display - that's a splash page now.

You may need to enable use of templates in Admin > Settings if you don't find the options in page settings already.

Thanks but I'm still unsure what any of that means. I don't appear to have a '/ndxzsite/$theme/ folder' and i have no idea how to set my homepage as a template.

You are probably using the default theme then - /ndxzsite/default/.

i've made the page and dropped it into the default file, the only problem seems to be that it needs to be a php file - is there any way of converting a jpeg to a php or an alternative solution?

What? An image is an image - a file is a file. Make a splash/template with html/php.
