Indexhibit Support

Hello,

I installed indexhibit and everything was working fine. Then I started getting error 503 message when trying to access the admin panel. Error log on my server says that the "User directive ignored when FPM is not running as root." Any help would be greatly appreciated. I already tried reinstalling and setting up a new database but nothing seems to work.

Hmmm - did you tell your host?

Yes, I am waiting for their response. I just wanted to be sure there wasn't something with Indexhibit that I was overlooking.

It worked and then suddenly stopped working?

I've never heard of that message - it's not an Indexhibit message. A quick search turns up some info - I believe this is a server issue (because it's not something that Indexhibit has control over in this situation).

Hello GaspardTB - as I Vaska and I mentioned above it's not somthing that can be fixed from either three of us. Did you tell your host?

Ok so I was looking around some other logs on and found:

"[08-Nov-2012 02:12:10 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Maximum function nesting level of '100' reached, aborting! in /srv/data/web/vhosts/jayflynn.net/htdocs/ndxzstudio/… on line 45"

Not sure if this helps any, clearly I'm stabbing in the dark trying to gain access to the admin panel. By the way GaspardTB are using Gandi for hosting by chance?

I'm still waiting to hear back from my hosting support team.

First time I've ever seen that one too. The host could easily up the nesting level - this is what most do.

I just ran a test to see how many times the particular "problem" function runs and it's not anywhere near 100 - it's 18. Something isn't right...

I wonder if there is something else running on your server hogging up a ton of resources.

Thank you for running the test. I have a feeling its something with the server I am trying to get them to remake the instance for a fresh start.

I'll let you know if it works or what Gandi's customer support comes up with.

Ok, I have heard back from my hosting and the Error 503 is resolved via "commenting the line mentioning "ob_start('ob_gzhandler'); in the index.php" I'm not sure why that fixed it but I'm glad that it did.
