Im trying to upload pictures to my website through Indexhibit.
It seem like it's uploading the pictures, but then they just appear as a little grey box with a cross in it. On the actual page they don't appear at all.
I changed the permissions to 777.
Also, is there a size limit to the videos that I can upload?

How big are your images?
That was it! I tried to save the pictures for web and reduce the size to around 80k and that seems to have resolved it. Thanks!
Regarding the video I used the youtube and Vimeo Plugins to link to the videos. So that works too. Am I right in assuming that I can't upload my own videos directly through Indexhibit?

You can, but they can't be too large and they must be properly setup for web use, as well (and you have to add thumbnails to them separately - after uploaded).
No - of course you can...
Make sure there exported as streaming - mp4, flv, swf and mov files along with you tube and vimeo links.
