Tnks

First, before writing my post, I watched that.
But the problem resists ;(

And did you ask your host about the tmp directory?

pietrobaroni / 2012-11-19 17:14:46

yes ;(
they don't know where this folder must be create.
Maybe do you know where usually is this folder in CMS?

pietrobaroni / 2012-11-19 17:25:34

If the problem resist is it possible install "indexhibit CSM 1.0".
It was enough for me. ;)

What? How could your webhost not know where the tmp directory? This is a hosting issue - they should be helpful about that. Indexhibit does not control the tmp directory...

pietrobaroni / 2012-11-20 08:42:48

OK... i fixed the problem.
tmp directory in root.

But unfortunally there are a lot of bugs generally.
Maybe there is a problem with OSX 10.8.2?

Ah...sorry...
Thank you for help us. Free.
Really you all are the best! ;)

What are the bugs you are encountering?

pietrobaroni / 2012-11-20 09:54:19

- Menu on left is always hide. Now, for ex., the sub menu in category "Works" is hide and no visible.
- Images are only thumb size
- A lot of times in the back office there are problems and I must recharge the page

I tried to install other and other time the CMS but there are problems every time.

Maybe I'm only unlucky.
But with the old one I was really better. ;(

Those sound related to html problems...you just need to clean up your code. And, a weak hosting connection would explain the dropped pages. It doesn't sound like it's Indexhibit.

In every way, Indexhibit 2 is better and smarter.

pietrobaroni / 2012-11-20 10:27:19

Ok, tnks.
I hope to resolve my problems.
You are very kind to answer.
;)

Finally I understood.
The real big problem is that there is a very important thing to do: have a real professional data base.
If you use a cheap data base there are a lot of problems.
If you use a good data base everything is ok.

Yes, exactly. Something wasn't right with the host and it was dropping the load.

Happy to hear you are moving forward.
