i was wondering what s wrong.
searched for hours the forum. wasn t able to find anything helpful.
the only thing i found to having left site navigation...the sections...
right site thumbnails to open up another gallery
format: visual index
display source: section instead of exhibit
i always get a failure message and the photos are deleted.... if i ll change the visual index media source from exhibit to section.
but that should do what i m looking for.
can anyone help?
found a solution, BUT it just works in the preview...
when i ll click the selection title the thumbs on the right are not shown,
just when i ad the section name/folder
after the normal link in the browser.
.../ndxzstudio/advertising
but it should work just click on advertising and the files should be there.
btw and fireworks the file upload doesn t work at all.

solved the problem.
expanding menues made everything work wrong.
I'm not sure I understand what is the issue.
Basically the section's display source needs to be set as "section"
Then it's going to display the first image of each exhibit that the section contains.
I'm not sure what fireworks has to do with uploading image files...
You export the images with your image editor and then upload them with indexhibit (edit an exhibit->upload button (the up-arrow)
firefox has still this bug which doesn t allowed uploading files.
add files and upload opens the same folder. vaska wrote it ll be fixed in 2.02.
and the section problem was together with that expandable menue plugin.
must be something wrong with that one.
disabled it works with section and my problem there.
