Indexhibit Support

Hi,

I was messing around on Filezilla and then it reverted my website back to an old layout/edit that I had. Not the one currently 'published or 'on' .. one that didn't exist in my files on the indexhibit website.

I decided to delete ndxz_studio from my filezilla then reupload it , now i am getting this message when i try to access my webpage.

Warning: require_once(defaults.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/awaespi/alexandrawaespi.com/ndxz-studio/index.php on line 23

In another forum question someone mentioned this:

it seems the options.php file (from dxzsite/config/options.php) is missing... reupload it and see if it works.

I do not have the options.php file in the config folder, but i also can not find it anywhere to upload it.

Please help! Would love to have my website back up and normal asap :)

and i tried the reset.php .. but got this message:

Can you check if you're missing the defaults.php file?

Also is your server running on php5? If so the site will no longer work...

yes it seems the defaults.php file is not in the folder also... a bit strange as i don't remember deleting those files.

how do i get them back? and how can i find out if my server is running on php5?

P.S I can log in to ndxzstudio and edit the pages, but unable to save them.

@db: Because you deleted the root index.php file of your site - simply reupload that file.

Also, this is a version 1 thread - please be aware of the version for the threads.

in regards to my issue - shall i just delete and reinstall a new indexhibit? or what is the best way to get my site back up?

No, just reupload the missing file - /ndxz-studio/defaults.php

i can not find that file anywhere - it is no where in my folders - how can i obtain it again? and do i need the options.php as well? where can i get these files that are missing from my ndxz_studio folder?

i redownloaded indexhibit to get the missing files

now i reuploaded defaults.php and options.php ... and now it tells me when i go here: alexandrawaespi.com/ndxz-studio/ - that my database is not installed.

when i try to go here to install alexandrawaespi.com/ndxzstudio/… - i get this message : Not Found

The requested URL /ndxzstudio/install.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

please help me on what to do next, or how to get my website back up!

I don't really know - it sounds like you've messed up your site. You've never backed up your files? Does your host have a backup?

You need to go very slow and be careful when you have problems - I've been doing this for many years and that's how I deal with website problems.

all my files are backed up.. though missing were the two php files.
i suppose i will just have to start all over and hope i can reinstall

If you have a backup then just reupload the missing files - this is not complicated.

i reuploaded the missing files. now i can login and update my website, but i am still getting this message.
defaults.php and options.php are in the folders on my server where they should be.
why am i still seeing this message:

i have made progress!
now... in the install page... there is no drop down to select language. it just says make selection... any ideas what could be causing this problem?
