Sub galleries.

Hi guys,

Im trying to make a website for my wife who's a photographer and wondering if anyone could help.
The PROJECTS AND COMMISSIONS part her website needs sub galleries.

Option 1:
The link as a drop down menu.
Problem: When i press projects the whole 'button' seems to move up. id like it to stay in line with the others and the sub text drop down. Any ideas?

Option 2:
Make thumbnails that correspond to its own galleries under PROJECTS AND COMMISSIONS.
I would like PROJECTS + COMMISSION to show thumbnails which leads to individual galleries. Is this possible?

here is the work in progress website.

Much appreciated.

Very best,
Kim

you've already done a series of customisations that I would do differently.
However the following does what you're after but you need to somehow re-center the whole #index div:

  1. #index ul.section { float: left; } #index .bot { clear: both; }

i've freestyled it abit to get it looking they way it does.

does this
#index .bot { clear: both; }
go under
#index ul.section { float: left; }

i guess it needs alot of work.

I tries and got the result i was looking for so thanks!

Just another question.
It there away for it not to move the content below when the drop down menu open?

give the #index (or the #index .container) a specific height in pixels.

I don't quite understand what is meant by 'sub galleries' here - you mean submenus?

Hello,
you could have what you want in you "Option 2" by creating all you exhibiton/project pages, hiding them individually from menu (in "Page Options" on the right), and by choosing "Media source" > "Section" and "Exhibition Format" > "Visual index" on the "Exhibit Options" menu of your PROJECTS + COMMISSIONS page (your section).
Are am I completely wrong ?
I chose this way to show my works. When you click on a section (like "Logos" on the menu), you land on a new page called Logos where you see 20 thumbnails, each one is a project/page/client, and clicking on them drives you to the specific project page.

lemathieu- YES!!
thats the one. did not know that you could use it that way.
vaska- i just meant a thumbnails under a section that leads to another gallery.

resolved.
Thanks very much.

Kim
