I would like to know what is the maximum size of a photo we can exhibit in a section with the new version. Is it less than the first version ?

The size in Kb is 200Kb (which can be changed in the options.php file)
200Kb is fair enough for web use - but as I said you can adjust this to something like 300-400Kb.
