Is there a way to prevent a subsection from expanding with the indexpand plugin?

All of their menu parts are expanding - I don't understand what you mean.

In escaut.org website, if you click on "Architecture" for example, it expands. But if you then click on "Equipments", instead of expanding it displays a visual index. This is exactly what I need.

Do you know how this is done? I have tried the Indexpand plugin, but it does not have the option to exclude a subsection from expanding...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ok, after a few hours trying to solve this, the question has changed to:

Is is possible to have a subsection that when it is clicked, it links to a hidden section displaying a visual index?

I already answered your question above - the feature is there.
