i have my name as the first link in the index. i have changed the behaviour of the indexlinks when you hover them but i do not want the name-link to change when you hover it. how do i manage to do this?

With CSS - just style it up as needed - there are lots of hooks for targeting exactly what you need.
But where do i find it? in the style.css-file i can only make global changes and i do not find the file where i can tell the title-link to relate to a certain CSS.
Some things you have to customize on your own - there isn't such a straightforward answer to this. If you showed us your site we would have a better chance at helping out...
the site isn't online yet, so which link would i have to send you to show it?
i have to confess i am a little confused where the preview-mode ends and the real mode starts. in other words: where exactly is the site i am creating right now?
Preview is preview. I don't know how you are building your site if it's not online - it makes it very hard for us to give you detailed help.
sorry i am lost in levelland. how do i get it online anyhow? i already have a site online and don't want to shut it down until the indexhibit-version is ready for the world.
thank you anyway for helping with this. i appreciate it!
if it's on a server and it's working then it is online.
Your site should be on the folder (subdomain) that you installed indexhibit.
the only html-file i can find is index.html in the ndxzsite-folder but this has 0 kilo byte. the main section under admin/sections is activated as "home" and green. it says the path should be my domainname plus slash but there appears still the old site which i still have online.
okay i managed! i had to get rid of my former index.html-file in the serverfolder. now i see indexhibit on my domain.
thank you for caring.
