Deleting Exhibit Doesn't Delete Files...

I guess this is a two parter. First, I have an exhibit that has hundreds of images in it. There is no way (that I'm seeing) to delete all the images from the exhibit other than clicking the trash can one by one. This led me to...

So rather than clicking on each trash can one by one I decided to delete the exhibit all together. The problem is, all the files are still in the gimgs folder. Why weren't they deleted when the exhibit was deleted?

A "batch" delete option would be great,

Thanks!

One more question, if I now go in and delete those files myself, is that going to mess anything up? Are those files still in the database?

Sorry I didn't respond sooner - yesterday I read the comment and was about to look into it and then, as always, something happened and I had to run and deal with that.

So, you are right that when you delete an exhibit it does not delete the images/files for that exhibit. There is a reason for that but until we release a new planned feature it doesn't make sense - it's a bug.

Go ahead and delete them - be very careful you only delete the proper images - it should not affect your site.
