jquery.js file question

flexo / 2013-01-09 14:59:37

We received a mail from our webhost, saying that jquery.js ftp file might contain viruses or be damaged. I've seen that all the other files in the html/ndxz-studio/site/js folder haven't been modified since we downloaded indexhibit program files (01/12/2012), and jquery.js has been updated on 02/05/2011. My question is: is the jquery.js file a file that is usually modified when we update our website?, in case it is not, is it possible to have a new jquery.js file to substitute ours that seems to be damaged? Thank you.

you can but certain formats/plugin may not work...
Thickbox has problems running with newest versions of jquery.

Thank you. There's a mistake in my text above: we downloaded indexhibit program files on 01/12/2010..
Does anyone have a 2010 jquery.js version?
