documenta not tiling correctly

msctierney / 2013-02-13 01:39:32

on my projects page i have laid out a few images and used documenta as the exhibit format. on my 27 inch mac with the browser expanded the images lay out fine. however, when i shrink the browser window or open this site on a smaller monitor the tiling does not lay out neatly. i ned up with one horizontal row and one vertical down either the left or right side of the window. tierneyprojects.

thanks for your help

What browser are you using. On my 13" laptop it's working great...

But, why aren't you using Visual Index for that page - I think it would be more appropriate (and do almost exactly the same thing).

the only reason i didn't use visual index is because i wanted some space between the thumbnails.

as far as what browser i'm using, i've tried it on both chrome and safari. try shrinking your browser and the images will re-tile oddly??

thanks

Admin > Formats > Visual Index (options)

You can adjust the spacing all you want! ;)

Yes, I think there could be a shifting problem when you resize the browser - it's on the list to look at already.

I envisioned that Documenta would be used with text - and a good amount of it.

perfect!! i spread it all out using visual index.
thanks.

I think you should justify the titles to the left. Choose a different grid setting like left/top. Also, with Documenta you were using Permalinks - you can set Visual Index to use them as well (I feel it's more appropriate for this exhibit).

Just my two cents...
