getting to my editor

jmascaro / 2013-02-14 22:01:16

I just 're-purchased' after having set up my site a couple months ago, and therefore had to provide a new email, etc...

I'm just trying to log in to my editor, but have no idea what my username or password is. I tried having it emailed to me but got no reply.

The 'log-in' sent with my original 'Indexhibit login/password' email is my email address, which is too many characters..

So, can someone send my login and password?

thank you
jm

sorry... also, I've already run the reset plugin, and when I follow the instructions I just head straight to my home page after heading here : johnmascaro.com/ndxzstudio/…

That would mean that the script is not where it's supposed to be - it must be in the ndxzstudio folder. Make sure it has permissions of 644.

Hi, Vaska... thanks for replying. I'm hoping I didn't screw things up further... I understood your reply to lean that the script needing placement was the index.php, so I took the v73 folder you provide in this forum and dropped the php and the other files onto my host server, but now even my web site isn't working.. much less my ability to get to my editor. Here's the message I get when trying to open my site :

Fatal error: Call to undefined function microtime_float() in /home/jmasc/public_html/index.php on line 13

Wait - are you running a Legacy site or a Version 2 site?
Why did you replace the index.php from a Legacy site to a version 2 site - that's why things are not working.
I hope you kept a backup of things before you replaced files and folders.
I think you messed up your site...
Try to replace the original version 2 files but keep the config.php file intact.

What Vaska suggested is that your reset plugin script is not where it should be. You should just uploaded the password reset plugin script in the ndxzstudio folder (nothing relevant to Legacy site scripts files or folders)

No, I'm running version 2... I just built the site two months ago.

Does this mean I need to rebuild the whole thing?

arsondpi / 2013-02-16 02:05:43

From the looks of things that maybe the case yes - and I'm only saying this because you seem to have your files/folders mangled up...

Solved!... thanks, guys... it was what arsondpi said... I just re-did the whole installation.. when I did the site was still there, as it was.
