Parse error

hollyprentice.co.uk

Trying to install indexhibit 2. I have had several problems throughout the process but my host has been very helpful in assisting me. After I put in my database information on the installation page, I get the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /var/www/vhosts/hollyprentice.co.uk/httpdocs/ndxzstudio/lib/access.php on line 69

I'm not at all computer savvy so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you or your host been editing the access.php file? This error means that there's a unclosed symbol somewhere in your file or in those that were included.

Reupload the file - it probably wasn't fully uploaded (FTP does that more than you can imagine).

I wouldn't know how to edit it!

My host has offered to look at the file access.php as they think there is a syntax error. I have sent them the original files so they can compare with the current one.

Thank you for such a quick response.

See my note Holly...

I'll delete then re-upload the access.php file.

Thank you Vaska

Even better, my wonderful host has inserted the missing code in the access.php file.

Thank you Vaska and arsondpi for your help.
