"media_im class not found" after uploading .jpg

csh / 2013-05-11 21:28:38

I am unable to access an exhibit after uploading a .jpg that I saved for the web from Photoshop. When I click on them in the indehibit interface I get "media_im class not found" and I'm unable to access or delete the exhibit. This has happend to a number of my exhibits with various file formats. I suspect it's because there is something slightly different about the uploaded file (ex: .jpeg, or .JPG vs. .jpg). How can I resolve this bug because so that I don't have to worry about corrupting a whole exhibit when I upload files?

If you go to the Shurkin Addition Exhibit you will see the below error.

chughes.net/projects/shurkin-addition/

"Warning: getimagesize(/homepages/20/d154035987/htdocs/files/gimgs/138_DSCN2956.jpg) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /homepages/20/d154035987/htdocs/ndxzsite/plugin/format.slideshow.php on line 145

Thanks for your help with this!

The name of the file that corrupted the exhibit was DSCN2956.jpg so I'm thinking it could have to do with using caps in the title?

The original is there so the upload was fine (chughes.net/files/gimgs/…)
The one created by the server doesn't seem to exist though chughes.net/files/gimgs/…

Btw .jpg is the "proper" jpg extension...
Can you elaborate on this a bit? What has happened and you get these sort of errors?

Hey- Thanks arsondpi for the response. I get these errors sometime when I upload files. The file uploads properly but then I get the "media_im class not found" when I in the exhibit in the web interface. I'm unclear on when is causing it as it has happened with .jpg and .mov files (but only rarely). I have a graveyard of dead (deactivated) exhibits that I can't access (or delete) that I've recreated in a new exhibit because of this issue. This isn't the end of the world, but it does cause a fair amount of recreating.

On a side note the most critical issue with indexhibit at the moment is the poor quality of the image resizing which I know Vaska is working on currently.

Following your lead I uploaded an image called 138_DSCN2956.jpg to the gimgs folder and it took care of the following error on my website:

"Warning: getimagesize(/homepages/20/d154035987/htdocs/files/gimgs/138_DSCN2956.jpg) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /homepages/20/d154035987/htdocs/ndxzsite/plugin/format.slideshow.php on line 145

Warning: imagecreatetruecolor() [function.imagecreatetruecolor]: Invalid image dimensions in /homepages/20/d154035987/htdocs/ndxzstudio/lib/resize.php on line 83

Unfortunately wen I go to the web interface and try to access the shurkin addition exhibit it still gives me the error : "media_im class not found". Any suggestions on what is causing this error?

Any suggestions on how to regain access to the exhibits? "media_im class not found" still appears when I click on them in the web interface...

Thanks!
