Duplicate database...

Hello,

In order to have a english version of my french website. I uploaded a second indexhibit.
Inside Phpmyadmin I duplicated the tables
Ones (the original ones) are ndxz_
The second ones are ndxzbt2_
I followed what Arsondpi said previously...

In order to a copy of my website I uploaded some folders... And at the end, I have a second website "mydomain/eng" just like the first one...

Great !

Not really because when I decided to translate the second website (mydomain/eng/ndxzstudio...)
The changes I make there, are now affecting both of my websites...

I hope I make me clear...

If y put some english words inside mydomaine/eng/ndxzstudio...
my original web site speaks english

When I put french inside mydomain/ndxzstudio
my english website (mydomain/eng/) speaks french

That's weird ! What terrible mistake I have made ? Of course Vaska warned me about playing with no skill... Well, you know... outside it's raining...

I'm really sorry to insist...

I know I'm guilty but I need some help...

My both indexhibit are now acting like twins but I want unlink them to make two differents languages.

Is there anyone who can help me or give me an advice.

I would really appreciate

Thanks

You're not guilty of anything - :-)
The issue here is that you've edited the database and we can't tell what you've done wrong.
I hope that you did backup your folders, files and database before you stated editing things.
If so, you could revert the database to the last working version and then start again...

Thanks Arsondpi

I'll delete the second website (and its tables in Phpmyadmin) and try again.

It's weird because these two indexhibit have 2 differents folders and should act independently...

This thread has been closed, thank you.
