Indexhibit Support

Hi,
I work with the Columner theme and indexpand.
my site: skatar.com

1) I want the exhibit area to be pushed down when "indexpanding"
2) I still want that menu area (index area) to remain when scrolling.

I already know how to script 1 or 2. (as in this thread: indexhibit.org/forum/thread/19265/ )

My question:
How do I combine those functions?

That is;
exhibit area moves according to indexpand.
AND, the menu stays in position, letting the exhibit area roll under it while scrolling.

that's sort of custom - even as a layout. This requires coding skills.

yeah. would be beautiful though.
Any chance someone has a solution?

It would be so great if someone could solve this problem. I still haven't found a solution...
