What is in v2, I need text pages

I have designed a site for a client at

archtyau.com/…

This is registered etc.

I have checked the spec for v2, and looked at the demo sites you can play with, and short of upgrading (which might be complex) I can't find the answer.

I would like to add a page of text in the pages of images; this is to add a page of info usually before the many images start showing.
I have a workaround by making a gif of the text, which is bad, see this example:

archtyau.com/mixeddevelopme/kobay-jelutong/

Are text pages, in 'exhibitions', now a feature?

Many thanks
Geoff

Caption allow for long texts yes - and you can insert html code as well.

I mean a text page rather than a caption. Is this different in v2?

In v1 you can't add a text page, only a series of images.

In v1, the image title and caption are very short, so I can't use a clear spacer, and a block of text.
Thanks.

That's what I mean - you can set long text as a caption with html tags.
You can use a 1X1 px transparent gif and use the caption to enter lots of text.

Yes but in my v1 editor, the available text for caption and title is limited to only a few characters...
12345678901234567890123456789012345
That many - 35.

So I could add tags, a etc for words, but not a lot else, and not a page of normal freeform text (with word wrap etc).

Yes but I have already answered this already; you can paste a big amount of text in the caption including html tags.

Version 2 has many more features than the Legacy version.
