Visual index / Grow

Hi,

regarding the Visual Index, using on-click: grow.

1)
the masonry is not very smooth.
I would like the rest of the thumbs to arrange in a masonry way.
How is that possible?

2)
Furthermore, it is very slow when loading.
Why is that?

Hello.

Smooth Masonry? That's not included in Visual Index. You need to integrate it yourself...

As for the slow loading of Visual Index with Grow as the onclick option, check out this post/solution: indexhibit.org/forum/thread/18016/
(it's going to be resolved in the upcoming version)

Well, if I didn't need advice, I wouldn't post here. Of course I've already tried and done a lot of searching online. So, also on behalf of these guys:indexhibit.org/forum/thread/19082/, could you give us some guidance about how to start with a masonry?

Thanks for the link about the slow grow.

Reading that and the masonry problem makes me wonder why it was even presented as a format in the first place. It is obviously not working and not helping anyone in its current state.

sorry if I sounded harsh there. I understand it is really hard to manage this big machine.

I managed to erase sleep 1 and 2, which makes grow absolutely great!

Nevertheless, - if we return to the masonry question.
My test page: skatar.com/…

I am not looking for anything fancy.
The only thing I'm annoyed about is that the unclicked images do not arrange themselves as a cluster.
On my test page, one of them always jumps down, underneath the clicked image.

Please, how can we solve this?
Maybe MASONRY is the wrong way to go and there is a simpler way?

best regards
