No, it's not. It's connected to something that feels like Slideshow but it's not the same thing. Each image is displayed with its own unique link (permalink).
However, if you are brave, you could customize the overlay option for Visual Index to also look and act more like Slideshow. I created it with this kind of thing in mind...

I got it.
now my site is like this: visual index - > perlinks ( that lead me to a theme like slide show like you said)
my site: leetomic.com/index.php/project/c/
and i just got one more question.
Let's say, if i want to make the images clickable on "perlink theme( looks like slideshow) or customize "pre/next buttom", do i need to fix something on "visual_index.php" ???
