when i try to login via the admin page i type in my name and password (which i think is the correct one) and i keep getting a "login err" message below the login space. when i try enough times it asks for my email address, when i type in my email address i get this message "Warning: mail() [function.mail]: Bad parameters to mail() function, mail not sent. in /home/content/s/e/l/seli3117/html/ndxzstudio/lib/mail.php on line 155"

I've tried many different login names and passwords and typed my email address in many times and still nothing. i even tried the password reset plugin and still nothing.

Plugins page at the left has a password reset script.

i tried the password reset and used the link provided but it just takes me back to my site and not to a place where i can reset the password.

i have the ftp all set up and ready to go, its just the password. nothing i try is working. i had access to it a few months ago with (what i thought was) the same name and password. if there is a simple way to get my name and password back that would be great.

There is no simpler way I'm afraid.
As Vaska suggested use the password reset script. When entering this url: srloper.com/ndxzstudio/… you should get a simple message (like Looks Ok! or something like that) and then you should be able to login with the default login/password. If you are being redirected to your main page then this most likely means that the script is not where it should (ie in the srloper.com/ndxzstudio/ folder).

* Last but not least you should delete the reset2.php script from your server.

This is what pops up when i have the reset file in the folder on the ftp and i type in srloper.com/ndxzstudio/reset.php

That's because you're (probably) using the wrong reset script - you should use the one for Version 2. And then point the url to srloper.com/ndxzstudio/reset2.php
