Indexhibit Support

Hello everyone,
First of all, here is my site: deandelso.com
I’ m using visual index to display a image from each exhibit in my “Proyectos” section, so I selected media source. As the Visual Index does, the first image of all the exhibits under that section are shown as a series o images that link to each exhibit.
The problem is that the first image that I want for each exhibit have different size and proportion, so when I display the visual index some of the images are shown trimmed.
What I want to do is to put a image for the visual index according with the 4x3 proportion that doesn`t appear then in the exhibit when it's selected.
I’ve tried to create a cover image in the first image of one exhibit of this section but it does’t worked.
I've been searching this forum to find out how to do this and I couldn’t find any thing, but I found a link for a web site that does what I want to do: juliagarret.com/

Try tapping on the Thumbnail Size button again to regenerate them - you need to do this AFTER you select the Thumb Shape. We're still trying to figure out a way to make that obvious - it's a very subtle interface thing to design.

I've tried it but it doesn't work very well because sometimes change the image and sometimes not and I don't know exactly why...
Now I'm testing with the images to decide which one looks best, so i keep trying.
If you find out something new please let me know.

Which page exactly on your site are you trying to do this?

Also you can use the "cover image" functionality with which thumbnail media can have a different image than the one displayed in full size.

Vaska, the section with the visual index is "PROYECTOS" and the exhibits I what to change the image to appear in the visual index are most of the exhibits of this section. At the moment I've only tried to use the "cover image" functionality in one of them, but it doesn't work. In fact, I've tried first with an image, then I changed it but the image that was deleted appears sometimes when i change the thumbnail size of the visual index.

Arsondpi, I've tried with a different browser and It doesn't work.Then I erased the navigation history of the browser and it didn't change, but now the slideshow doesn't work anymore (other exhibit formats goes right). I've reuploaded the slideshow files and it is still the same.
I don't know if it is related a thing with the other

My site is not launched yet so I'm still working on it.
I did some tests about the "cover image" functionality and I have seen that if I delete the first image and load it again with the cover image that I want it is shown in the visual index. It's a little tedious but it works.
For the problem that I have with the slideshow format I searched in the forum and found out that the problem could be the htaccess file, I installed the original file and now it works.

well - to be honest it's hard to find a solution if a site is not live or even accessible (with a Site password plugin enabled)
Still it's good that things are in working order after all.
