I am trying to register the site with google.

might this be somewhere in the admin? in the header? not sure where or what that is. But I need to past the code google provides, then it runs a check and makes sure im the owner, etc. then i can run the crawl, analytics etc.

The code needs to be pasted in the index.php which is located in the defalut folder (your theme folder in ndxzsite)

should I paste it in the in the pre-nav or post-nav box? of somewhere else?

using the ftp application find the index.php file in ndxzsite>default and edit it with a code editor.
You'll then have to paste the code, save and reupload.

thanks. im using dreamweaver, does that sound right? theres no way i can figure this out.

I wouldn't use dreamweaver unless you know exactly how this software "behaves" - the few times I used it, I had code rearranged and stuff added.
Just use a code editor - most people hear like Coda (a payed application), but there's other free ones available.
