Indexhibit Support

I've had trouble installing indexhibit on my current server : the usual "XX check config" message while trying to connect the database. I'm considering switching to a new Web host.

Indexhibit recommends Dreamhost, but $8.95 is too expensive for the friend whose small site I'm rebuilding. Can anyone recommend any other Web host which caused him/her no trouble installing indexhibit?

(I meant $8.95 a month)

Ask your friends/colleagues - this isn't a hosting recommendation site. DH isn't for everybody...but hosting referral from them is the only source of income this project has (lately we earn about $100/month from them so it's not much).

There are definitely cheaper hosts to be found.
