Indexhibit Support

I'm having some troubles installing; I follow the tutorial and I get this far:

I go to .../ndxzstudio/install.php
I select language
I enter personal information and database information
I click submit
: now the page is blank and the url is install.php?p=2
(I never get to the modify login and password site - and if I delete the install.php file and try to go to .../ndxzstudio/ I get the message: database is not installed)

I have checked permissions, what server it is and file permissions - all is OK.

What seems to be the problem here?

I've encountered this problem as well. Is there a chance that Indexhibit will not work with PHP 7? That is the only inconsistency I could find between this new install and other installs that I've worked with recently. We're in the midst of downgrading that particular server environment to PHP 5.6 to test this theory but the changes haven't "settled" yet.

Update on the above: it was 100% an issue with running Indexhibit on PHP 7. Once the downgrade to PHP 5.6 was complete, I was able to install Indexhibit without a problem.
